November’s Character Education trait was Citizenship. To be a good citizen anywhere you have to be a good person. That means showing respect, having a good attitude or just helping out. In the classroom, you have to show responsibility by doing your homework on time or listening and following directions. Year after year, students do an exceptional job creating these designs. State Department of Education Releases SAT Scores

Thursday, October 25, 2018, the College Board released national and South Carolina specific results for their SAT. The SAT is a standardized test often used in the college admissions process. The South Carolina State Department of Education released their annual report, “The Condition of College and Career Readiness 2018” which contains state and national ACT performance data for the Class of 2018. Marlboro County High School DECA chapter attended the South Carolina DECA Fall Leadership at the State Museum on Tuesday, October 16. Six Schools Receive Subgrants

Marlboro County School District is happy to announce that six of our schools have been awarded a Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) subgrant from the State Department of Education to be implemented during the 2018-2019 school year. The schools earning the grant are Bennettsville Primary, Bennettsville Intermediate, Blenheim Elementary Middle, Clio Elementary, McColl Elementary Middle, and Wallace Elementary Middle.  Read more about Six Schools Receive Subgrants
