Congratulations to Ms. Barbara Ford-Dukes, the 2022-2023 Support Staff Person of the Year for Marlboro County School District. Ms. Dukes has served Marlboro County School District for 27 years. She serves currently as a nurse at Bennettsville Primary School but has also served in that capacity at several other schools in the district.
Her principal, Mrs. Gail Redding has this to say about Mrs. Dukes: “Mrs. Dukes is very dependable and reliable. She has a calm and honest spirit and is a master of her craft. She serves over 600 students and 87 staff members, giving each of us individualized care with true precision. She has worked tirelessly during the past 2 years of COVID, even staying until 6-7:00 PM to complete paperwork of her own free will. She participates in school functions graciously and is rarely absent. She encourages students an staff to follow protocol and remain healthy.”
