Dear Marlboro County School District Community, Families, Faculty, and Staff,
I am pleased to announce that all schools will remain open this year—a decision that benefits our students, teachers, parents, and the entire community.
Students, faculty, and staff remain our top priority. Every decision reflects our belief that students deserve the best education we can provide. Schools will open as scheduled, and we look forward to welcoming students on Monday, July 28, 2025.
If you have not registered your child yet, please visit your zoned school or register online through PowerSchool. Our school and district teams are ready to help you throughout the process.
We thank the district, School Board, and State Superintendent Weaver for their efforts to keep Marlboro County School District fiscally sound. We look forward to working with the South Carolina Department of Education in taking the necessary steps to stabilize the district's finances.

Marlboro County School District is proud to celebrate an outstanding partnership with Northeastern Technical College (NETC) that is transforming the educational experience for our students at Marlboro County High School.
Through this collaboration, our Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Early College students are now learning in a state-of-the-art facility located on NETC’s Marlboro Campus. This exciting initiative provides students with access to advanced resources, hands-on learning, and college-level instruction—all designed to prepare them for success in today’s competitive workforce and higher education pathways.
